There's something really beautiful about the haziness of this image... The forms are so abstracted that I can stare at them for quite a while and let my mind play with what they could be... Normally I would say that the lack of a "true black" is troubling - but in this image I think that it works. I feel as if I'm looking through a screen or pane of weathered glass or something... Very atmospheric.
